We caught up with Tata herself to get the inside scoop on her favourite beauty rituals and what comes next for the brand... What is Tata’s Go-To Routine? Shop the Products: What does sustainability mean to Tata Harper? “For us, sustainability is the way we’ve always done business. You can’t be a green company without a green product, and that means everything from ingredients to manufacturing to packaging needs to take the planet into account. In recent years, beauty brands have started to make more of an effect to minimize their environmental impact, mostly by committing to switch to more eco-friendly packaging at some point in the future. It’s a small change in the right direction, but the majority of the industry needs to think bigger when it comes to environmental responsibility.” International Women’s Day is coming up - what does female leadership mean to you? “My grandmother and mother have always been my mentors, especially when I was building my business. They both taught me about entrepreneurship at a young age and imprinted on me the importance of being a hardworking business woman. If it wasn’t for them, I don’t think I would be where I am today.” What are your top tips for ageing skin? Shop the Products: What are your top tips for boosting mental wellness? “Finding balance is a daily process, but I’ve been trying to find ways to ease my stress through meditation, aromatherapy, and my skincare ritual. A great place to start with developing a skincare ritual— and take a little mental break at the same time — is with face masks like our Resurfacing Mask. It’s one of my favorites because it’s like an instant glow facial that not only brings my skin back to life but also has essential oils like bergamot that uplift and de-stress the mind.” What’s next for Tata Harper? “Stay tuned for a super exciting development - we are currently working on a line for reactive and sensitive skin coming this spring! I believe the future of sustainability is reusable packaging and refillable products. We’re working on developing product refills to minimize consumer waste and extend the lifespan of our packaging.
