What it is

THE COLOUR
A call to an Homeric journey. Carried by the tumultuous history of the Bounty Rebels, touched to the heart by these Tahitian women dressed in the crystal of their lagoons. 

THE PIGMENT 
The Corsica chestnut tree - Castanea Sativa - is described as "The one whose head in heaven was close and whose feet touched the Empire of the dead". A very fine pigment with beige-brown reflections is extracted from its achene.
In the 1820s, Lyon industrialists discovered that its tannins made it possible to dye silk black, a skill that is still jealously guarded today.
Rich in anti-oxidants and vitamins B, C and E, Chestnut pigment has incredible biological properties.
